This policy describes which personal data is processed when you visit this website. It is deliberately short, because this site processes very little: no tracking, no analytics tools, no embedded third-party services — and therefore no cookie banner either.
This is a translation provided for convenience. The German version is the legally binding one.

Visiting the website (server logs)
When you open this website, your browser transmits technically necessary data which the host stores in log files: IP address, date and time of access, the address requested, the volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system.
This processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the technically faultless operation and the security of the website. This data is not combined with any other data.

Contact form and email
If you write to me using the form or by email, I process the data you provide — name, email address, type of project and your message — solely in order to deal with your enquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR insofar as your enquiry is aimed at entering into a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, based on the legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
To deliver the notification of your enquiry I use the email service Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., United States). Resend processes the data you provide on my behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement.
In doing so, the data is transferred to the United States. The basis for the transfer is the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, under which Resend is certified; the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses apply in addition.
I delete this data as soon as it is no longer required for that purpose and no statutory retention periods prevent deletion.
No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies. No analytics services, advertising networks or social networks are embedded. Typefaces are served from this site’s own server, so no connection to Google servers is made.
No information is stored in your browser either — neither in local storage nor in any other way. Consent under § 25 TDDDG is therefore not required.
Your rights
You have the right at any time to obtain information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
Where processing is based on a legitimate interest, you have the right to object to that processing (Art. 21 GDPR).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is that of the federal state in which I am established: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.
